As the year draws to a close, we are reflecting on all the memories made over the last 12 months and the endless possibilities for new adventures in the next 12. And one of the best ways to do both is by raising a glass at a New Year’s celebration! No matter how you want to celebrate — with a relaxing candlelit dinner or an exciting dance party — there is something happening this New Year’s Eve in Northern Colorado.

New Year’s Party at The Playground
December 30, 4–8 p.m.
The Playground is a fun climate-controlled indoor playground for children ages 1-10 located inside The Greeley Mall. On the day before New Year’s Eve, The Playground is hosting their annual New Year’s Eve Party for little ones! Dress to impress and ring in the new year early. Everyone needs a ticket to get in (including adults); your ticket includes admission, a photo backdrop, an individual charcuterie box, a bottle of water or juice box, and a vision board kit. There are limited spots, so be sure to purchase your tickets online in advance!
Winter Wonderlights
Chapungu Sculpture Park, Loveland
December 31 + January 1, 5–9 p.m.
Every year, Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra transforms into Winter Wonderlights, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are the last two days to see this spectacular display! The 26-acre park is illuminated with 150,000 lights, including holiday string lights, twinkling bulbs, LED mappable snowflakes, illuminated stone sculptures as well as a music and light show every single night. 20th Annual Crystal Ball at the Stanley
December 31, 5 + 7 p.m. (Dinner) + 9 p.m. (Party)
The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is celebrating New Year’s Eve with their 20th Annual Crystal Ball! The 21+ event will feature a dinner in the historic MacGregor Ballroom, followed by a party with live music from Photon and DJ FashioNation, and entertainment from comedian Dominic Syracuse. Resolution Run 5K
Ridgeview Classical Schools, Fort Collins
December 31, 6 p.m.
Now in its 39th year, the Resolution Run is a family-friendly 5K starting and finishing at Ridgeview Classical Schools. Everyone is welcome — kids, strollers, dogs, walkers and runners — and if you finish under 20:23, you’ll earn a special prize! The race is held after sunset, so glow sticks are provided and everyone is encouraged to show off their bright clothes and lights. The race is owned by Fort Collins Running Club and managed by Gnar Runners, hosts of the Horsetooth Half Marathon. Click here to register for the Resolution Run 5K! New Years Eve Boots ‘n’ Bling Bash

Bid farewell to 2022, ring in 2023, and celebrate 40 years of Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon at their New Year’s Eve Boots ‘n’ Bling Bash!
