The Group Won Four Awards at the Annual LeadingRE Conference

We are thrilled to announce that The Group won four prestigious awards at the annual LeadingRE Conference March 7–10! The company is proud to receive each award, including first place for Best Website and Best Property Search, second place for Business Card, Letterhead & Specialty Marketing, and third place for Best Video. Plus, our relocation director, Kathleen Hollerbach, was awarded the President’s Award for Service.

“The awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of the talented marketing, technology, and relocation team at The Group,” said Tom Flanagan, Chief Innovation Officer at The Group.

The conference was held the second week of March at the Wynn in Las Vegas, welcoming members of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® and invited guests to learn from industry experts and network with peers. Over the course of four days, the conference covered five different tracks, including Agent Summit, Sales Manager Summit, Luxury Summit, Annual Conference, and MarTech. According to LeadingRE, “the event is designed to infuse passion, inspire creativity, and incite action.” Featured speakers included mentalist Colin Cloud, artist Phil Hansen, co-founder and CEO of 1000Watt Brian Boero, real estate tech strategist Mike DelPrete, and more.

“The annual LeadingRE conference is one of the best events in the industry,” Flanagan said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn the latest trends in the real estate industry and network with some of the best real estate professionals in the world.”

 

 

Best Website | First Place

In the digital age, a website is like the online living room of any business. It’s where you learn more about the values and history of a company, plus the services and products available to customers. The Group introduced a brand new look back in 2020, coupled by the launch of a new look for our website. Best Property Search | First Place

Long gone are the days of driving around town to pick up flyers with listing information next to “for sale” signs. Now, we can know everything there is to know about a home from our laptops and phones — the very moment it hits the market. Our Advanced Search allows you to get extremely specific about the home you’re looking for, from location and number of bedrooms to desired outdoor features and the year it was built. Plus, our Map Search provides a visual experience for location-based searching, with the same filters available. Our search tools landed us the award for Best Property Search!

 

 

Business Card, Letterhead & Specialty Marketing | Second Place

For the second year in a row, we were recognized for our marketing materials, coming in second place for Business Card, Letterhead & Specialty Marketing. The 2020 rebrand was the first time the company has rebranded in two decades and only the third time in our storied history. Our marketing team worked closely with 1000Watt, a real estate branding and strategy agency, to reimagine a new look for The Group — one that was modern, fresh and conveyed the look and feel of what the company is all about. We are honored that this rebrand and our use of creative marketing tools were recognized at LeadingRE!

 

 

Best Video | Third Place

And lastly, we came in third place for Best Video! Spend just a few minutes on social media and you’ll realize one thing: video is king. Videography has the ability to bring things to life in 3D — including homes. Take a look at our video collection, which includes property tours, quick-view walkthroughs, company videos, and more.

 

 

Kathleen Hollerbach Awarded President’s Award for Service

At the end of the day, it’s all about the people. And we have some of the best people at The Group, including Kathleen Hollerbach, our relocation director. Kathleen received the coveted President’s Award for Service, which acknowledges contributions made beyond the job description, including committee involvement, presentation at network conferences, and service on advisory councils and boards.

Kathleen has been with The Group since 2011, starting as a selling agent, transitioning into the position of Referral Coordinator, and then moving up into the Relocation Director role. She is a member of the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS®, the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She is a past Rookie of the Year nominee for the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS®, (2012), was the past Events Chair for FCBR, has served on the Board of Directors for Pathways Hospice, and is currently on the LaPorte Area Planning Advisory Committee for Larimer County. Kathleen has her CRP designation (Certified Relocation Professional) from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and her GRP (Global Relocation Professional) from the Leading Real Estate Companies Of The World®. She is a highly experienced relocation professional with a strong passion for everything related to corporate and individual relocation, as well as referral management.
