You’ve got your group costume all planned out, with only one problem: where will you wear it? Whether you’re dressing up with your friends or with your kids, there are several fun Halloween events in Fort Collins, Loveland and surrounding areas, planned for 2022!
We’re talking zombie crawls, themed 5Ks, costume contests, creepy concerts, trick-or-treating, cosmic skating, bar crawls, and much more. Add one (or several!) of these NoCo events to your calendar for an extra spooktacular Halloween.
Zombie Crawl
Where: Loveland Aleworks, Loveland
When: October 22
The Loveland Zombie Crawl is taking over downtown Loveland on October 22, starting at Loveland Aleworks. Take advantage of the on-site zombie makeup artists and participate in the costume contest for individuals, groups and children. In the meantime, enjoy food truck food, a photo booth, and drink specials (for those 21+) at a variety of venues — as long as you are decked out in zombie attire! This event is free and open to all ages.
Candy Crawl at Fort Collins Marketplace
Where: Fort Collins Marketplace, Fort Collins
When: October 23
Fort Collins Marketplace is hosting a Candy Crawl, a safe trick-or-treating event, with so much more Halloween fun in store for the whole family! There will be face painting, balloon twisting, caricature artists, spooky crafts, a pumpkin decorating station, carnival games, live entertainment, and more.
Festival of Frights
Where: Rialto Theater, Loveland
When: October 24–28
The Rialto is hosting their third annual week of Halloween fun with the Festival of Frights, extending from October 24–28. Activities include ghost tours, creepy classics, and the much-anticipated Ooze & Schmooze Costumed Cocktail Party! Click here for all the details and to purchase tickets.
Halloween Pops Concert: Escape to the Dungeon
Where: Lincoln Center for the Performance Arts, Loveland
When: October 27
New this year, the Fort Collins Symphony is playing a Halloween-themed fall pops concert at the Lincoln Center! This spooky and thrilling evening will feature live orchestral music from classical, Hollywood and Broadway scores. Tickets are $12 for students and children and $32 for adults (or $25 if you’re a season ticket holder).
Greeley Trick or Treat Street
Where: Downtown Greeley
When: October 28
Calling all little goblins and ghouls, ghosts and gremlins! On October 28th, downtown Greeley will be closed to traffic for the annual Trick or Treat Street. Candy will be provided at more than 40 businesses, as well as booths and some trunk-or-treat cars. Don’t miss all the prizes and family-friendly fun — all for free!
Avery House Halloween Tours
Where: The Avery House, Fort Collins
When: October 28 + 29
Experience the history of Halloween after hours with the Avery House Halloween Tours, offered on the Friday and Saturday leading up to the holiday. Find out where certain holiday traditions started, why bobbing for apples was so important to Victorians, and many other interesting tidbits on this 30-minute tour. Tours will be offered between 6 and 8 p.m., starting on the hour and half hour, with the last one starting at 8. Your ticket includes hot apple cider and a piece of pie — and costumes are encouraged! Please note that these spooky tours may not be appropriate for small children, but you can bring little ones to the Avery House on Halloween for free candy.
Mythmaker Brewing 1st Annual Halloween Bash
Where: Mythmaker Brewing, Fort Collins
When: October 29
Mythmaker Brewing is hosting their 1st Annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 29th. Wear your costume and participate in a ton of activities all night long. Your ticket includes a special edition Halloween-themed pint glass, a complimentary taster of their special Trick-or-Treat beer, your first beer of the night, and $1 off all beers until the party ends. Cosmic Costume Skate
Where: Greeley Ice Haus, Greeley
When: October 29
Each Halloween season, Greeley Ice Haus transforms into a spooky skating rink for their Cosmic Costume Skate event. Admission is just $6 or $2 for children 5 years and younger, and if you wear your costume, your skate rental is free! Make sure it’s a good one because the costume contest runs from 7:45–8 p.m.
Windsor Halloween Carnival
Where: Windsor History Museum, Windsor
When: October 29
The Windsor History Museum is hosting their annual Halloween Carnival, where you can explore the museum’s historic buildings, which will be transformed into a spooky haunted village with free candy for all. Plus, enjoy scary Halloween stories, free activities and crafts, and more Halloween fun for all ages! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and participants are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their own candy bags or buckets.
FOCO Boo Crawl
Where: The Exchange, Fort Collins
When: October 29

Halloween Hullabaloo
Where: Chilson Recreation Center, Loveland
When: October 29
Kids’ Nite Out is hosting their annual Halloween Hullabaloo bash for kids ages 7–12 at Loveland’s Chilson Recreation Center! Wear your costume to be entered into a drawing for four free passes to Kids’ Nite Out, a drop-off youth activity program for kids. Activities include a zombie NERF arena, jack-o-lantern four square, trick-or-treat street, a Halloween carnival zone, and ghosts in the graveyard. Purchase tickets here.
Halloween Organ Extravaganza
Where: Colorado State University School of the Arts, Fort Collins
When: October 31
On Halloween night, CSU’s organ studio and faculty artist Joel Bacon are hosting their 17th annual Halloween Organ Extravaganza. The evening will feature both classic and not-so-classic works, including the famous Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach.
