9 Instagram Accounts Every Foodie in Northern Colorado Needs to Follow

One of our favorite things about living in Northern Colorado is the incredible food at our fingertips, from juicy burgers paired with beer to colorful salads comprised of fresh local ingredients, and of course — the tantalizing sweet treats we always seem to save room for. And all throughout the region, new restaurant concepts are always popping up, and it’s difficult to keep track of it all!

That’s why we recommend following the many foodies in our midst, who make it their mission to document our city’s finest culinary creations and share them with their hungry followers. Each account offers their own spin, all with a focus on sharing the best must-try, tried-and-true meals throughout NoCo!

Iver Marjerison has been eating his way across Fort Collins — and even wrote a book about it, called The Foodist Bucket List. The book details 100 must-do food experiences in Fort Collins, including epic eats, unique drinks, extraordinary desserts, and much more. Iver’s Instagram account, @fort.collins.foodist, is an up-to-date photo diary of his ongoing food experiences throughout Northern Colorado — with the occasional trip down to Denver!

Emily of @lifeinnoco highlights the best of Northern Colorado, including food, fun and adventure. Not only does she share her favorite meals and various outings in NoCo, she also compiles succinct lists you can save, like the top patios, the best brunch spots, and more. And if you’re looking for events and networking opportunities, be sure to follow her event-focused account, @lifeinnocoevents!

@focofoodiefan keeps it pretty simple, sharing tantalizing up-close-and-personal photos of the best meals around Fort Collins, from burgers and wings to tacos and sushi. It’s impossible to look at this feed without becoming hungry!

The Old Town Food Tour is one of our favorite tours to take in Fort Collins. The tour takes visitors and locals alike on a culinary adventure through Old Town, stopping by the most exciting restaurants, bakeries and culinary stores in town. And their Instagram account is definitely worth a follow, as they regularly share some of their favorite local spots, as well as timely food specials you don’t want to miss out on!

Since there is so much good food throughout Northern Colorado, sometimes you just need someone to dig through it all and present the best. @nocofoodfinds does just that, by sharing posts from both restaurants and locals, and contributing some of their own finds along the way. The goal is to highlight NoCo’s best food content and support small businesses — that’s something we can get behind!

If you have a hard time deciding just what to order once you sit down at a restaurant, @focofoodguy is here to help! This beautifully curated account shares the best eats and drinks in town, with detailed information about what’s pictured, which often includes all of the ingredients.

@avasfoodpics is exactly what it sounds like — food pics from Ava! This feed is packed with tantalizing dishes worth trying throughout Fort Collins and the occasional trip to another city. Ava is especially active on stories and saves her favorite spots in her story highlights so you can get even more ideas!

Varsha (AKA Spice) and Kasey (AKA Sugar) are two foodie friends sharing their favorite meals and food-centered experiences in Fort Collins. Plus, they sprinkle in a few unique recipes and nutrition secrets every once in a while!

Chris and Meghan of @nocofoodiesblog take followers along for the ride on their culinary adventures in NoCo — and beyond. While they haven’t posted in a while, the account contains a library of hotspots worth visiting.
