Biking, hiking and swimming — you’ve done it all, and you can officially call yourself a Colorado resident! Once your outdoor adventure to-do list has been completely conquered, why not try your hand at one of the more unique and “extreme” sports? We’re talking bubble soccer, axe throwing, and...breaking things in a rage room (yes, that’s a real thing).

Think outside of the box by attempting one of these unusual and extreme sports in Fort Collins! They provide the perfect activity for a unique date night experience, a company event, or simply family weekend outing. No matter the occasion, everyone is sure to have a blast!

Take in the views and the thrills on the Cache La Poudre River, considered Colorado’s only designated “wild and scenic” river. Rocky Mountain Adventures offers beginner to advanced whitewater adventures, including half to full day trips. This family-friendly experience includes an experienced guide who will usher you and your group through Class II, III and IV waters. Book your rafting trip online 24/7!

Bubble Bump Soccer

When you merge bumper cars with soccer, you get “bubble soccer” — a unique and hilarious sport all its own. In a bubble soccer game, five players take on an opposing team in a traditional soccer game, but all 10 players are decked out in massive plastic bubble suits. The game starts with an initial “rush and bump” in the center of the field, and chaos ensues from that point forward. Bubble Bump Soccer is a locally owned bubble soccer manufacturing company offering rentals within 25 miles of Fort Collins — and further, with an additional fee.

Laser Tag at Chipper’s Lanes

In addition to bowling, Chipper’s Lanes offers arcade games, live music, a restaurant and laser tag (at the Horsetooth location). But Chipper’s laser tag is not your ordinary laser tag experience. Their new modern air-brushed arena called ChipTAR, a mysterious alien planet, is packed with color and plant life, plus the latest in laser tag technology.
