Come summertime, we almost always answer “outside” to that age-old question: “Would you like to sit inside or outside?” And here in Greeley, it’s even easier to make that choice with so many incredible outdoor patios to choose from!

Let’s take a virtual tour of the many restaurants in Greeley with decked-out patios. These patios are equipped with a variety of features to enhance your al fresco dining experience, from twinkling lights to roaring fire pits, and even heaters to keep you warm and umbrellas to keep you cool.

Bon Appétit!

Luna’s Tacos & Tequila opened in 2018 and has already become a favorite in town—especially if you’re craving tacos and tequila. And there’s arguably no better place to enjoy some tacos and margs than on their spacious, airy rooftop patio, which has plenty of seating, shade umbrellas and twinkling string lights. Plus, you can get a pretty cool view of downtown Greeley from up there!

A family-owned restaurant steeped in tradition dating back to 1962, Santeramo’s Pizza House and Italian Food is the best source for Italian food in town — including pizza, pasta, and other specialties. And their patio is one of the best in Greeley as well, featuring umbrellas, string lights, old-fashioned light poles, and lush greenery.

Meeker’s is your go-to for all things farm-to-table. After gaining extensive experience in some of the world’s most well-known kitchens—including several projects in London—Chef Ron Jackson has come back home to Colorado to add his own flair to American and Rocky Mountain cuisine. Between the modern interior and the lovely patio, there isn’t a bad seat in the house at Meeker’s. The spacious patio has bistro lighting and umbrellas, making it the ideal place to eat and drink, day or night.

The Tavern at St. Michael’s Square is everything you want in a tavern — it’s cozy, inviting, and filled with mouth-watering food and drinks. Chef Chad has crafted an incredible menu that utilizes local and seasonal meats and produce whenever possible. They have an extended patio with heaters for the cooler days and umbrellas for the warmer days. Their patio sunsets are some of the best around!

Located near CenterplaceThe G.O.A.T. Sports Bar is Greeley’s newest sports bar, offering a place to gather with family and friends, watch the game, or just grab a drink. They have a 360-degree bar top in the center inside and a spacious patio outside, which has both bar and table seating. Throughout the interior and exterior, there are a total of 36 HDTVs, which means you can watch every second of the game, no matter where you’re seated!

As you can tell, Greeley is certainly not lacking in Mexican food options! La Mariposa has an extensive food and drink menu, and some of the best margaritas around. Don’t miss their Famous 20” Burrito, which includes your choice of meat and beans, smothered in green chili, and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, black olives, guacamole, and sour cream. Relax on their outdoor patio, which has plenty of shade, a fire pit, comfortable cushioned chairs, and beautiful stonework throughout.

The story of Rio Grande starts in Fort Collins and includes very good and very strong margaritas. Since opening their original Old Town location, this team has expanded to more than five others throughout the state, including this one in the heart of downtown Greeley. Here, you’ll find excellent Tex Mex food made using local ingredients, the best margarita in Weld County and a killer patio. The partially covered patio is adorned with colorful lights, hanging flower baskets, and a fountain!

At Brix Brew & Tap, you can taste Colorado beers from 60 taps that include a selection of beverages brewed in-house. We especially love it because you can pair those beers with a food menu that includes snacks like bacon-wrapped dates, a hummus plate, and a charcuterie board! And their patio is one of the best in town, featuring lots of shade and heaters. And in true taphouse fashion, their tables are actually whiskey barrels turned on their side. Don’t miss the live music at Brix every Tuesday and Friday night!

Proudly serving the Greeley community for nearly two decades, Coyote’s Southwestern Grill is a scratch kitchen serving Southwestern-style cuisine. They make their own house-infused tequilas and offer one of the best margarita selections in Northern Colorado. And one of the best places to enjoy a margarita? On their spacious patio, which has heaters, fire pits and plenty of seating. Don’t miss the mango fish tacos or their 24-hour chili-lime marinated skirt steak!
