‘Tis the season for forming healthy eating habits! And while we definitely love indulging at our favorite burger joints and ice cream shops, there’s something to say about ordering a healthy meal while on the go.

That’s why we’re sharing some of the best places to eat a healthy meal in Greeley, whether you’re ordering at a restaurant or picking up some ingredients at a grocery store to make your own healthy dishes at home. At these Greeley restaurants, you’ll find plenty of healthy options, including salads, veggie bowls, fresh seafood, smoothies and much more.

Meeker’s is arguably the best source around for all things farm-to-table. After gaining extensive experience in some of the world’s most well-known kitchens—including several projects in London—Chef Ron Jackson has come back home to Colorado to add his own flair to American and Rocky Mountain cuisine. And his menu includes a number of healthier options, including a Veggie Royal with a Beyond Burger patty, a quinoa bowl, and more, plus plenty of sweets and fried foods to balance it all out.

There are endless seafood and non-seafood options to choose from at Lucky Fins, from delicious fried options to raw fish delicacies. Sherpa Grill Indian Nepali Restaurant

908 8th Avenue

Don’t overlook the bright blue building on 8th that houses Sherpa Grill, a beloved Indian restaurant amongst locals and visitors alike. In fact, many consider it the best Indian restaurant in the region — Denver included. Here, you’ll find a robust menu with authentic Indian dishes, like Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, various types of curry, naan and more. Overall, Indian food tends to be quite healthy, as it includes fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables, natural protein and invigorating spices. Sushi 1

3820 West 10th Street

Originally from South Korea, Mr. Tae Suh opened Sushi 1 in 2005 to fulfill a dream of owning his own restaurant. He has always had a love and passion for Japanese-style sushi, and wanted to share it with the community of Greeley. After enduring a fire several years ago and a successful reopening, Mr. Suh continues to serve each customer with a smile — and some of the best sushi around. In addition to traditional sushi rolls, Sushi 1 has an extensive menu with a variety of salads, soups, bento boxes, entrees, stir-fry noodles, sashimi, Thai dishes and much more. Everything here is fresh and made with quality ingredients. Plus, they have an entire gluten-free menu as well!

They never add additional sugars or syrups and instead depend on the natural sugars and sweetness in real, whole ingredients. But Inta Juice has more than juice and smoothies! Natural Grocers

2819 35th Avenue

Natural Grocers began just south of us in Lakewood, Colorado in 1955 by Margaret and Philip Isely, who had just $200 and a dream — a dream that everyone should be able to afford a healthy and active lifestyle. That philosophy remains in each Natural Grocers store — all 160 of them across the country. This Colorado-born grocery store chain has several locations in Northern Colorado, including one right here in Greeley. The store offers 100% organic produce, dietary vitamins and supplements, body care, dairy products, naturally raised meat and seafood, bulk foods, and much more. Due to their curated selection (and a focus of quality over quantity!) it’s easy to collect healthy, organic products to stock up your fridge and pantry. For over 50 years, Natural Grocers has been a trusted source for high-quality products and affordable pricing — and we’re lucky to have several in the area.
