You’ve been to Torchy’s, you’ve heard the rumors, and maybe you’ve even ordered a taco off the secret menu. After all, to look it over in person, all you have to do is know to ask your server. But if you order your favorite secret items without seeing the menu, they’ll know you’re a regular!

The normal menu is packed with delicious favorites like The Wrangler breakfast taco, the Fried Avocado taco, the rotating taco of the month, extras like street corn, and famous green chile queso. But the secret menu has even more exclusive creations you’ll want to order again and again. And it’s the only place you’ll find double-shelled tacos — crunchy and soft! What more could you want, right?

Get the details on all the secret selections here, then let us know which ones you’re ordering on your next trip to Fort Collins’ Torchy’s. How about all seven?

1. Jack of Clubs

Ingredients: A fried egg, potatoes, black beans, crisp corn tortilla strips, shredded cheese, cilantro, sour cream and diablo served on a flour tortilla

Brother to the Ace of Spades, this breakfast taco has all the flavor with half the spice. The Diablo hot sauce packs a punch and wraps all the flavors together perfectly.

2. Ace of Spades

You either know it or you don’t.

Ingredients: A jalapeno sausage link, grilled brisket, a fried egg, green chile queso, cilantro, cotija cheese, sour cream and diablo served on a flour tortilla

The spicier Ace of Spades adds heat, the famous green chile queso and extra proteins! It’s a must-try.

3. Trailer Park Hillbilly Style

Our kinda New Year’s toast.

Ingredients: Fried chicken, chorizo, chopped bacon, green chiles, green chile queso, shredded cheese, pico de gallo served on a flour tortilla with poblano ranch on the side

The Trailer Park taco is a regular menu favorite, but the Hillbilly Style version on the secret menu adds chorizo, chopped bacon and green chile queso. Count us in!

4. The Hipster

Life is short. Take the trip. Buy the shoes. Eat the tacos.

Ingredients: Panko fried tuna, green chiles, chopped bacon, black bean relish, cotija cheese, avocado sauce, cilantro and a wedge of lime served on a flour tortilla

Usually, we don’t need any more convincing than “Panko fried tuna,” but throw on black bean relish and avocado sauce and there’s no going back. Just take a look at that taco in the top left corner!

5. Green Chile Pork Missionary Style

Ingredients: Green chile pork, pickled onions, guacamole, jack cheese, cilantro and creamy chipotle on a crisp corn tortilla inside a flour tortilla

Pictured on the bottom left of the image above, Green Chile Pork is another item from the regular menu. When you order it Missionary Style, you get added pickled onions, guacamole and (our favorite) the extra flour tortilla around the crispy corn shell.

6. The Matador

A work of art.

Ingredients: Chopped brisket, grilled jalapenos, pickled onions, jack cheese, avocado, sour cream and cilantro served with tomatillo on a crisp corn tortilla inside a flour tortilla

Named for its spicy and exciting ingredients, this flavor-packed creation needs an extra shell just to hold it all!

7. Mad Cow

Your taste buds will thank you.

Ingredients: Green chile pork, pickled onions, guacamole, jack cheese, cilantro and creamy chipotle on a crisp corn tortilla inside a flour tortilla

When it comes to Torchy’s creations, Mad Cow may seem like a pretty regular taco, but don’t knock it ‘til you try it. The complementary flavors in green chile pork and pickled onions come together perfectly with creamy chipotle sauce. And, as you know, we can’t get enough of those double shells!
