New Year’s Eve means saying goodbye to 2017 and saying hello to the brand new year — but not before we revel in all that Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Estes Park have to offer! That lineup includes concerts, parties, themed cooking classes, dance extravaganzas, and even a rodeo competition.

Irish New Year’s | Fort Collins

December 31, 5 – 8 p.m. at Mulligan’s Pub

Mulligan’s Pub and The Commoners are celebrating New Year’s on Irish time. When the clock strikes midnight in Ireland at 5 p.m. local time, raise a complimentary Guinness toast and dance along with this Fort Collins Irish jam band!

Every year, families all over NoCo look forward to First Night Fort Collins. The free, non-alcoholic and arts-based celebration includes more than 30 performances at seven venues throughout downtown. Each performance will take place at least twice throughout the night so you’re sure not to miss any of your favorites. The evening ends with a firework show beginning at 9:30 p.m. — and you can see it all from Civic Center Park!


New Year’s Eve with The Cooking Studio | Fort Collins

December 31, 6 p.m. at The Cooking Studio Fort Collins

The Cooking Studio Fort Collins is encouraging you to skip the run-of-the-mill dinner date night and join them for a festive cooking class this New Year’s. Over the course of about four hours, you’ll use fresh ingredients to prepare a 3 – 6 course, chef-inspired meal. Then you can take your new cooking skills and put them to good use throughout the new year!


New Year’s Eve Dance | Estes Park

December 31, 7 p.m. – 12: 30 a.m. at Rodeway Inn

Estes Park’s Friday Niters Dance Club is throwing a ballroom dancing party in the Aspen Room of the Rodeway Inn. With live music provided by Harris and Harris, you can enjoy a Social (Half) Hour from 7 – 7:30 p.m., dinner from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m., and dancing from 8:30 p.m. through midnight! New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge | Loveland

December 31, 7:30 p.m. at Budweiser Events Center

The annual New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge is a hit with families every single year. Join the rodeo fun for its 12th consecutive year, buy tickets online here, then afterward, don’t miss out on the NoCo New Year’s Bash hosted by Big 97.9! Located next door at First National Bank Building at The Ranch, you can watch the countdown to the new year with live entertainment beginning at 9 p.m. and continuing until 1 a.m.


NoCo New Year’s Eve Midnight Bash | Fort Collins

December 31, 7:30 p.m. at Hilton Fort Collins

New Year’s Eve with Shakedown Street | Bellvue

December 31, 8 p.m. at Mishawaka Amphitheatre

One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street is a Rocky Mountain original. They’re bringing the entire album “Wake of the Flood” to life this year inside the Mish’s SpokesBUZZ Lounge. Your ticket price includes a champagne toast at midnight and Prime Rib will be on special in the restaurant. Don’t miss out on this musical event at one of NoCo’s favorite music venues.


New Year’s Eve Gala | Greeley

December 31, 8 p.m. at Monfort Concert Hall

Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and Union Colony Civic Center are hosting an elegant New Year’s Eve Gala to usher in 2018. The concert will feature various festive songs, including performances by guest vocalist Wendy Fopeano, and will finish just in time to watch the iconic Times Square Ball Drop. Your ticket includes a champagne toast at the post-concert celebration so buy yours here! You can also RSVP and get updates via the Facebook event, but this does not count as your ticket purchase.


New Year’s Eve Gala with Goodtimes Dance Club | Loveland

December 31, 8:45 p.m. – 12:15 a.m. at Fort Collins Senior Center

Members and non-members alike can join Goodtimes Dance Club for this New Year’s Eve dance celebration. Featuring the Don Elwood Big Band, party favors, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight, this is sure to be one of the best NYE parties in Northern Colorado! Moxi New Year’s Eve | Greeley

Join local band The Burroughs this New Year’s Eve as they celebrate their “Got to Feel” Album Pre-Release Party at Greeley’s Moxi Theater. In collaboration with 105.5 The Colorado Sound, the show includes a champagne toast and an epic balloon drop. The annual NYE party at Ace Gillett’s is the place to be if you’re a fan of craft cocktails, fine foods and lively jazz. In fact, Ace Gillett’s is a great destination for those things year-round! On the last night of 2017, they’re hosting live performances in Mantz Hall where there’s plenty of room for dancing the night away. Gasoline Lollipops New Year’s Eve | Fort Collins

December 31, 9 p.m. at Hodi’s Half Note

Gasoline Lollipops, winner of Denver Westword’s 2016 award for Best Country Artist, is a Colorado original that combines grassroots folk with rebellious punk. Join them and The Alcapones at Hodi’s Half Note on December 31 to celebrate their Fort Collins Album Release Party! Tickets are just $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

December 31, 9 p.m. at Avogadro’s Number  

Greeley Fort Collins Colorado New Year's Eve 2017

Colorado bands Wood Belly and The Derek Blake Band are coming to Avogadro’s this New Year’s Eve. Purchase your $10 pre-sale ticket and you’ll gain access to a festive disco ball dance floor, a midnight champagne toast and a full lineup of special musical guests! New Year’s Eve Bash With Chain Station Mountain Music | Estes Park

December 31, 9 p.m. at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern

Chain Station is a four-piece string band from Denver that will get everyone out on the dance floor and they’re bringing all their high-energy sound to The Rock Inn for New Year’s Eve. Their picking ranges from lightning-fast to mountain mellow to suit every bluegrass lovers tastes.
