Oh, Yelp. It’s the review website we often go to when we want to share our experiences. And it conveniently tells us the top destinations in every city on the globe — whether we’re looking for food, drink or service.

Based on the number of reviews and the ratings themselves, Yelp creates lists of nearly every restaurant in a given city so you know minute-by-minute where you should go for your next meal. Using that information, we compiled a list of the Fort Collins hotspots that are most consistently ranked in the top ten.

Next time hunger strikes, take a tour through FoCo via it’s top dinner spots. There are casual eateries, upscale restaurants and even a few tapas menus, so no matter the occasion, there’s something here to match it!

1. Restaurant 415

Whether you’re looking for FoCo’s best outdoor patio, top-of-the-line vegan-friendly grub or the perfect date night spot, The 415 is already one of our go-to destinations. And, according to Yelp reviewers, we’re not alone. Hundreds of five-star reviews have put it at the top of the list.

One reviewer explained, “This place is trendy and serves amazing food without being pretentious. I love the tapas-style menu as it gives you an excuse to order a bunch of different dishes that are all guaranteed to take you to food heaven.”

2. The Colorado Room

For a casual dinner packed with local flare, stop by The Colorado Room. Made by and for Colorado locals, this spot serves mouth-watering food with local ingredients. Even the tables and bar were handcrafted locally with recycled beetle kill wood!

Nearly every Yelp review mentions the BBQ pork sliders or one of the other unique slider concoctions. Check out their full menu online and you’ll find everything from veggie sandwiches to bison patties! And they’re on our list of the best late-night dining options in Fort Collins, so don’t worry if your dinner plans are late!

3. The Farmhouse At Jessup Farm

The building has been standing for 133 years, but the restaurant has only been serving their fresh, delicious food for a couple years. Since it opened its doors and became a part of the new Jessup Farm Artisan Village, the farm to table restaurant has been a hit with locals and visitors alike.

Yelp reviewer, Heather, from Denver wrote, “There are enough items we want to try that we will make the trip from Denver again … and again.”

4. Social

Social may not come to mind right away when you’re thinking of a dinner spot. Their impressive line-up of craft cocktails offers some of the best beverages in Fort Collins and has definitely become the star of the menu. However, if you’re looking for tapas style plates to share with your crew, make Social your next dinner destination. The sliders, the Bavarian pretzel, the charcuterie platters — it’s all worth a trip.

And don’t skip dessert either. One reviewer said, “Order dessert, you won’t regret it! We had a Limoncello Lemon Bar and housemade fudge that was phenomenal. I will definitely be back.”

5. The Twisted Noodle

Located in Campus West, The Twisted Noodle is a hidden gem in Fort Collins. The restaurant started serving Northern Colorado in 2014 when owners Leo and Anthony opened the original Longmont location. And as soon as they opened their doors in FoCo, they were a hit with locals, visitors and students alike.

One resident wrote, “I am definitely coming back. The price, the friendly quick service and the quality of the food all combined to make it a great, enjoyable experience. I want more!“

6. Scrumpy’s

Scrumpy’s may be famous for their delicious hard cider offerings (and for good reason), but don’t skip over the food menu. Alongside world-famous ciders and a few options brewed on-site, they offer hot sandwiches, delectable appetizers and plenty of sweet treats.

The most adoring review we found on Yelp begins, “Friends. This is not a review. This is a love story.“ Stop by Scrumpy’s today to start your own fairy tale.

7. Locality Kitchen And Bar

Locality is one of the newest additions to the Fort Collins food scene and already it’s on Yelp’s list of the city’s best. One of the first reviewers explained, “I’ve never been more impressed by a new dining establishment. This place has it together like it’s been open for years rather than just a few weeks.”

After you get a taste of their farm-to-table dinner, we recommend stopping by for brunch. After all, we did name it as one of the best brunches in FoCo!

8. Domenic’s

It makes sense to see Domenic’s on a list of the best dinners in town because it’s been a FoCo favorite for dinners and date nights since Brian Tessari opened the doors in 2003. From the community atmosphere to the creative menu, the mission is to offer an unforgettable dining experience each and every time.

Yelp reviewer, Ryan N., calls Domenic’s “The Space Mountain of restaurants.” He went on to explain, “It is a rare occasion that I get amazing food on top of great service. [Domenic’s is] truly one of the best if not “the” best restaurant in Fort Collins.”

9. Blue Agave Grill

Pair your dinner with one of the best patios in town or make it a date night, but either way, choose Blue Agave Grill. And we’re not the only ones who think so! One reviewer explained, “This is one of the most popular restaurants in Fort Collins for good reason.” The food is fresh, the tequila selection is impressive and the guacamole is made fresh at your table. Need we say more?

10. Dam Good Tacos

“The answer to my taco prayer!” is the perfect way to explain Dam Good Tacos (besides the name, of course). They’re on our list of The Best Vegan and Vegetarian-Friendly Restaurants in Fort Collins, but these tacos aren’t just for herbivores! Order the Yelp-famous Bandito pork tacos for a real treat and you’ll want to come back again and again.
