Children get lost in daydreams this time of year, imagining the magical arctic oasis that is the North Pole. They only read about Santa’s home in books and see it in movies, and it all seems so far away and unattainable. Thankfully, Santa has a workshop set up just down the road at our Centerra office in Loveland! And don’t worry — it won’t sit vacant throughout Santa’s busiest time of the year, as Mr. and Mrs. Claus are making special appearances on the first three Saturdays in December.
Santa will be stopping by The Group, Inc.’s Centerra office on:
Saturday, December 5 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday, December 12 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday, December 19 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Santa’s Workshop will include all the necessary activities for enjoying this festive season to the fullest. As is custom, children may sit on Santa’s lap and tell him all of their Christmas morning wishes, while his helpers will capture this moment with free printed photos. Mrs. Claus will be stationed at a storytelling and fun activity station, at which all the boys and girls can decorate ornaments and participate in a coloring contest.
But all the fun doesn’t stop once you step outside the doors of the workshop! Families can venture outside for complimentary cookies, hot cocoa and a horse-drawn wagon ride, experiencing the beauty of this area on a leisurely ride with refreshments in hand.
Before you eagerly add one of these dates to your calendar, it is important to note that Santa’s Workshop is completely free and open to the public. This is especially good news during a season that often tips the scale on our budgets! Santa’s Workshop is presented by Country Financial and sponsored in part by Townsquare Media, Eye Center of Northern Colorado and Loveland Dental Group. These fine folks are making this fun and festive day possible for you and your family!
In conjunction with Santa’s Workshops, Centerra will host an annual winter clothing drive to benefit a local non-profit organization. We encourage you to bring new and gently used winter clothing items to this event, including jackets, scarves, gloves, boots and sweaters. If you forget these items during your visit to Santa’s Workshop, don’t worry! You can drop them off in the donation box located inside The Group, Inc.’s Centerra office entrance during our normal business hours, which are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
