This summer is packed with exciting community events in Northern Colorado — which we are even more appreciative of after a year when many were cancelled or postponed. While this summer’s events span a wide range of topics and interests, there is an especially large number of art-centric events to choose from!
Between Loveland’s renowned Sculpture in the Park event, Fort Collins’ Art in the Square, and other smaller artsy events on the calendar, there is no shortage of creativity to cultivate and art to admire this July and August!
Whether you are an art aficionado or an artist yourself, there’s an arts event in Northern Colorado for you.
Art for the Heart | Fort Collins
Every Wednesday June 2–August 4, 2021 | Old Town Square
Every Wednesday from June 2 through August 4, the Downtown Development Authority invites you to pick up your project to be completed at home as part of Art for the Heart. Each packet contains that week’s specific art project, plus all the instructions and materials needed to complete it. No purchase is necessary — simply take the packet home and spend the week creating! Return your masterpiece the following Wednesday to be displayed in their Old Town kiosk. Each art project that is returned earns your child a punch on their “Frequent Creator” card, and prizes for frequent participation will be awarded on August 11! Pickup happens from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. next to the Old Town Square stage each Wednesday through August 4.

Admission for children under 12 years is free and the three-day pass is just $15 (and comes with a BOGO ticket for a friend!).
