After more than a year of this pandemic, one thing is clear: Northern Colorado residents have still found a way to celebrate just about anything, whether it’s drive-by birthdays, Zoom weddings, or socially distanced holidays and other events. And the ingenuity continues for Easter 2021!

While many of our large-scale gatherings are on hold this year, there are still several ways to celebrate Easter in Northern Colorado, from an adults-only “Easter Keg Hunt” to at-home crafts with your little ones. No matter how you celebrate the holiday, we wish you and your family a Happy Easter!

Attend the NoCo Easter Keg Hunt

March 27, 2021 | Civic Center Park, Fort Collins

The NoCo Easter Keg Hunt is back — with some COVID regulations and safety measures, of course! The kick-off takes place at a local watering hole, where teams of up to 9 people gather to receive a bag filled with “tools” for hunt and their first clue, which will lead them around town to local businesses, where they will hunt for eggs and solve clue after clue. The Easter Keg Hunt is by foot and takes about 2-4 hours to complete. Costumes, team color coordination and “rabbit wear” are encouraged. The winning team receives a large keg trophy and every team receives drinks and goodies along the way. The cost to participate is $35 per person, and a portion of all proceeds will go to support Animal Friends Alliance, an adoption-guarantee animal shelter in Fort Collins. Due to the event’s popularity and COVID, the NoCo Easter Keg Hunt will be capped based on venue capacity. Get your tickets before they run out!
