Featured on Northern Colorado Speaks as a Great American Beer Festival winning brewery, Broken Plow is a must-visit in Greeley. The team’s experience begins with 30 years of growing organic greenhouse produce alongside 30 years of homebrewing. Now, you can taste that passion and experience which result in outstanding gluten-reduced beers. And every weekend, you can enjoy your beer of choice with the excitement of live music. Plus, Work of Art Greeley regularly offers open studio times, where you can choose from hundreds of canvas designs, use supplies provided, and paint at your own pace.

Not only is the Kress Cinema & Lounge Greeley’s only independent movie theater, it’s also a full-service bar and restaurant serving specialty cocktails, craft beer, wine, gourmet small plates and classic movie concessions. Their basement speakeasy opened in February 2018 and offers yet another entertainment option! Located in downtown Greeley’s historically renovated Kress Building, you can stop in for cocktails in the lounge, sip cocktails in the speakeasy, or enjoy your meal in the theater while watching a movie.

COVID NOTE: At this time, The Kress is playing outdoor movies at Margie’s Java Joint every weekend at 8:30 p.m. Concessions and soft drinks are available for purchase and tickets are available here! Enjoy a Picnic at Lincoln Park

Located in the heart of downtown Greeley, Lincoln Park offers a lovely green space for picnicking, relaxing under a shade tree, or taking a stroll along paths winding throughout the park. There’s no denying that Greeley is an artsy town. In fact, the city has 560 pieces of public art on display thanks to the successful 1% for Art Program and generous private donations. Sip Afternoon Tea at Cranford’s Tea Tavern (temporarily closed)

This sunny tea shop offers a serene setting in downtown Greeley for handcrafted coffee and tea, smoothies, breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads and more. This is the perfect place to catch up with your date, while you enjoy either a snack, a full meal or simply a cup of coffee or tea. See a Show at Union Colony Civic Center (temporarily closed)

Owned and operated by the City of Greeley, the Union Colony Civic Center was built in 1988 and is home to two performance venues. Monfort Concert Hall seats more than 1,500 and Hensel Phelps Theatre seats just over 200. Together, they host more than 100 musicals, concerts, comedy shows and events with the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and The Greeley Chorale every year. Between the two venues, there’s bound to be something that coincides with your upcoming date night!

Ice Skate at the Greeley Ice Haus (temporarily closed)

Act like kids again at Greeley’s premiere indoor ice arena, the Greeley Ice Haus, which hosts public skate sessions, classes, clinics, leagues, tournaments and more. They offer public skate hours every day of the week in addition to cosmic skating, skating programs, public ice hockey and broomball. Public skate admission is $6 for those 6 and over and $2 for kids under 5. Skate rental is $3. This makes for a fun, adventurous (and budget-friendly!) date activity.
