You’ll experience different body positions, varying pedal speed, resistance, hill climbs, sprints and coasting, providing an extensive and intense workout. The Barre classes at Lighthouse Dance are designed for both dancers and non-dancers. Both will benefit by increasing strength, flexibility, endurance and balance as they combine dance, pilates, stretching and balancing for a unique full-body workout. Established in 2007, CrossFit Loveland knew about CrossFit before it was truly known by the nation. This unique strength and conditioning system is built on constantly varied functional movements. Their toolbox contains a variety of equipment, including gymnastics rings, barbells, bumper plates, dumbbells, parallel bars, pull-up bars, medicine balls, rope, mats, and even kettlebells, a giant tire, and sandbags. Operated by the City of Loveland, Chilson Recreation Center is a full-service fitness, sports and aquatics facility complete with more than 100 weekly fitness classes, an indoor track, open courts, a lap pool, a zero-depth entry leisure pool with a lazy river, free weights and circuit weights, indoor cycling and more. Choose from a variety of classes covering a range of subjects, including cycling, pilates, yoga, aquatics, Tai Chi, aerobics, Zumba and much more. Colorado Active Pilates is a boutique studio in Loveland specializing in private and semi-private therapeutic pilates instruction. Their customized teaching style tailors movements to each client’s individual needs, empowering them to own the exercises and see progress over time. The studio only offers private and semi-private (two people or a small group) sessions, which are by appointment only. They can be booked for 25 or 55 minutes Monday through Friday, and one 55-minute private session is required to schedule semi-private sessions on the equipment.

Created by native Columbian Alberto “Beto” Perez in 2001, Zumba is the only Latin-inspired fitness program that combines the fun of dancing with a cardiovascular workout.
