From August 12th through 14th, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World—an invitation-only global real estate network—hosted their Mid-Year Forums for 2019, which included panel discussions, presentations and attendance by several Groupies. 

 

Kathleen Hollerbach at the LeadingRE Relocation & Referral Forum

Our very own Relocation Director Kathleen Hollerbach was a speaker at the LeadingRE Relocation & Referral Forum. This particular event attracted an elite group of relocation professionals who are members of LeadingRE. With a focus on referral networking, sharing best practices and other content dedicated to relocation directors and coordinators, the forum offered the best opportunity to network with the most members in one centralized meeting.

Kathleen joined an accomplished line-up of speakers, including keynote speaker Lance Allred—author and the first legally deaf player in NBA history—who shared an inspirational message on perseverance, grit, teamwork and leadership. Featured speaker Mike DelPrete—a global real estate technology strategist and scholar-in-residence at the University of Colorado Boulder—provided insights on the state of the industry. Other sessions, like Kathleen’s, focused on best practices in meeting the unique needs of relocation clients, as well as strategies for maintaining a position of leadership in an evolving market.

According to LeadingRE President/CEO Paul Boomsma, “Our network excels in the relocation arena with an average of 120 client introductions made daily among our members worldwide. The forum gave us the opportunity to bring together the relocation professionals who are so passionate about serving the unique needs of these relocating clients to learn from one another and strengthen their skills even more.”

Other LeadingRE Mid-Year Forums

In addition to Kathleen’s presentation, several other Groupies participated in different LeadingRE Mid-Year Forums. 

Mary Ann Michels, a Broker Associate/Partner with The Group, participated in the Luxury Portfolio International® Agent Forum, an exclusive event offering the opportunity to network with LPI top agents, learn from peers, and grow your business. Mary Ann spoke on a panel that discussed what’s working in the industry. This included topics like the best luxury listing tools, tactics for competing in a new landscape, creative ideas for listing, strategies for price reductions, successful open house ideas, and best practices for personal business development.

The Group’s Marketing & Events Manager Amy Hoback attended the Luxury Portfolio Affluence Forum. This exclusive event offering the opportunity to network with peers from across the country and get access to the latest trends and information about the affluent consumer.

And President Brandon Wells attended the Broker Forum, an event designed for brokers, general managers or higher-level roles responsible for day-to-day organizational management.
