New Year’s Eve means we’re saying goodbye to 2018 and welcoming the brand new year — but not before we party, cheer, dance and explore here in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Estes Park. This year’s NYE lineup includes concerts, light displays, dinner events, parties, classes and even a rodeo!

December 31, 4 – 8 p.m. | The Mayor of Old Town
Whether you’re heading to bed early or you’re just looking for a good starting point, The Mayor of Old Town is the perfect place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Fort Collins. They’re beginning at 4 p.m. on December 31st with food specials, drink specials, and new craft beers on their famous lineup of 100 taps. Call their team at (970) 821-5991 to make a reservation.
December 31, 5 – 9 p.m. | Chapungu Sculpture Park
Every year, Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra transforms into Winter Wonderlights. From mid-November through New Year’s Eve, the 26-acre park is illuminated by holiday string lights, twinkling bulbs, LED mappable snowflakes, illuminated stone sculptures, as well as a music and light shows every single night. And the best part is, it’s all free and open to the public! December 31, 5 – 9 p.m. | Gardens on Spring Creek
Garden of Lights transforms the Gardens on Spring Creek into a winter wonderland complete with gardens, flower beds, sculptures, ponds, cornfields and hundreds of thousands of LED lights. The garden is open every evening from December 1st through January 1st so you can visit on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day!
December 31, 6 – 9 p.m. | The Cooking Studio Fort Collins
The Cooking Studio is hosting an entire New Year’s weekend and it culminates in A New York New Year’s Eve on December 31st. Other themed events include Night in Paris, Night in Barcelona and Night in Tuscany. You can see the full class calendar here.

The Coloradoan’s famous New Year’s Eve Secret Supper is an event like no other. For $120 per attendee, you’ll get to participate in a dinner prepared by local chefs at a secret downtown Fort Collins location to be announced just a couple days before December 31st. Get your tickets here.
December 31, 7 – 10:30 p.m. | Block One
Goodtimes Dance Club is ringing in the new year with a New York-inspired dance extravaganza. Keeping with the theme, guests will watch the Times Square ball drop and can be home by 11 p.m. Get more details here.

December 31, 7:30 p.m. | Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch
The annual New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge is a hit with families every single year. Join the rodeo fun for its 13th consecutive year and watch classic rodeo events like bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding and mutton-bustin’. Buy tickets online here, and don’t miss out on the NoCo New Year’s Bash hosted by Big 97.9 following the rodeo.
Located next door at First National Bank Building at The Ranch, the bash invites you to ring in the new year with a countdown and live entertainment. Tickets to NoCo New Year’s Bash are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
December 31, 8 p.m. | Mishawaka Amphitheatre
One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street is a Rocky Mountain original. This year for their New Year’s Eve Mishawaka show, they’ll be recreating the Grateful Dead’s show in the Oakland Auditorium on December 31, 1981. They’ll also be performing a special Dark Star at the stroke of midnight!
December 31, 8 p.m. | Moxi Theatre
Dress to impress for this hyper-local Moxi celebration. Northern Colorado’s own soulful band, The Burroughs, is providing the music and all tickets include a champagne toast at midnight! December 31, 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. | The Stanley Hotel

December 31, 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. | The Lyric
The Lyric is saluting 2018 by bringing us all the way back to Total Request Live. VJs will spin requests all night and you’re invited to dress up as your favorite TRL stars, from Destiny’ Child to Tara Reid and everyone in between. The evening will also feature lip-synch performances and a champagne toast.
December 31, 9 p.m. | Aggie Theatre
Blind Melon has ended their hiatus with an international tour that includes a stop right here in Fort Collins. Doors open at 8 p.m. for this show at the Aggie and tickets are $32 in advance or $35 on December 31st.
December 31, 9 p.m. | Best Western Plus Loveland Inn
This Rat Pack New Year’s Eve bash includes all you can eat hors-d’oeuvres and desserts, a live DJ and dancing, costume contests, casino-style gaming, and a midnight champagne toast. December 31, 10 p.m. | The Rock Inn
Chain Station is a four-piece string band from Denver that will get everyone out on the dance floor and they’re bringing all their high-energy sound to The Rock Inn this New Year’s Eve. Their picking ranges from lightning-fast to mountain mellow to suit every bluegrass preference.
