Summer in Northern Colorado means our love for bands, festivals and community can be showcased every single week. The region’s summer concert series and movie series feature the best of our local community so we can enjoy the summer the best way we know how: with free NoCo celebrations!

Hosted by the same team behind NewWestFest, Bohemian Nights Presents Thursday Night Live is a series of free summer concerts held on the Old Town Square Stage each Thursday evening. The series showcases some of Colorado’s most rocking, local talent set amongst one of the community’s favorite neighborhoods.

Downtown Sessions Concert Series Fort Collins Colorado Summer

Free and open to the public, this Friday evening concert series on the Old Town Square Stage features a diverse line-up of Colorado musicians. In addition to music, each week features beer service from Odell Brewing and High Country Beverage. Swing through the plaza from 6 – 9 p.m. on June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th and October 5th to join in the fun!

The first concert on June 1st brings Tallgrass and Maxwell Mud to Old Town. Check the website for the monthly lineup.

 

Friday Fest | Greeley

With 17 dates throughout the summer, this family-friendly block party in Downtown Greeley brings live music, street performers, fire spinners, face painting, balloon artistry, sidewalk chalk and more to our community. The 2018 lineup includes Pink Hawk, Gasoline Lollipops, Dave Beegle and the Jurassicastors, and 14 other outstanding artists. In conjunction with these performances, several of the events coincide with other annual happenings like Greeley Blues Jam, Greeley Stampede and the WeldWerks Invitational. Movies in the Park | Windsor

Set in a different Windsor park each time, this summer series invites the whole family to lounge in front of the big screen. From June 1st – September 2nd, you can laugh along with classics like The Lion King, Jumanji, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Free Willy, The Karate Kid, Mary Poppins, and Grease. Don’t miss special events like the family camp-out in Boardwalk Park on July 13th and the Dive-in Movie at Chimney Park Pool on July 27th!

Noontime Notes Concerts Fort Collins Colorado Summer

This intimate, lunchtime concert series features small-scale music performances perfectly suited for an afternoon picnic or a lunch break. Free and open to the public, you can stop by Oak Street Plaza to peruse vendors and listen to music from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Tuesday between June 5th and August 7th.

Featuring everything from bluegrass and rockabilly to Motown and blues, this year’s Windsor Summer Concert Series is sure to be a rocking one! Every Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., swing by Boardwalk Park to listen to tunes alongside others in the community. Colorado State University and Mantooth Marketing Company come together every summer to present The Lagoon Summer Concert Series, a can’t-miss series that includes some of the area’s best food trucks, vendors and musical talent. For 2018, they’re bringing both local favorites and national acts, including Pandas & People, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, Strange Americans, Equally Challenged, Jake Gill and The Wendy Woo Band. And come hungry because each week will also bring food trucks like Ba-Nom-a-Nom, The Taco Stop, The Human Bean Coffee Truck, Sustainable Spoon and so many more!

 

Children’s Summer Series | Fort Collins

This summer, the Lincoln Center Support League is hosting five shows covering comedy, music, dance and story on the Lincoln Center lawn. Great for children of all ages, the shows are each an hour long and begin at 10 a.m. on June 13th, 20th, 27th and July 11th and 18th. Attendance is free so gather your kids, bring your sunscreen and blankets, and get ready for a fun morning on the lawn!

 

Performance Park Summer Concert Series | Estes Park

Performance Park is an outdoor amphitheater that features a grassy hillside for concert-goers to lounge on blankets or in folding chairs while enjoying picnics and great music. The 2018 free concert series includes Thursday Night Live events alongside special occasions like Estes Park Village Band & Jazz Big Band on July 4th. Hosted by the Berthoud Historical Society in the beautiful Pioneer Museum courtyard, this concert series is organized each year Butch Hause, Berthoud local and former Denver newspaper music critic. In 2018, he and his team are bringing Reckless Abandon on June 20th, Jon Chandler on July 11th, Roz Brown on July 25th, and Harry Tuft on August 1st. Loveland Summer Concerts | Loveland

This year’s Loveland summer concert series includes five at Foote Lagoon and one in Hammond Amphitheater. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday night between June 21st and July 26th, you can enjoy a new kid’s activity area, performances by regional and nationally touring artists, and reserved VIP Seating for all Rialto Theater members! The full lineup includes Patty Larkin, Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband, Face Vocal Band, Narrow Gauge, Rusty 44 and Jarabe Mexicano to showcase everything from folk-pop to mariachi!

 

Neighborhood Nights | Greeley

Since the first Neighborhood Nights in 1996, this summer series has become one of Greeley’s highly anticipated summertime happenings. Free and open to the public and set at a new park each week, you can enjoy Despicable Me 3 on July 6th, Coco on July 13th, Back to the Future on July 20th, Mary Poppins on August 3rd and Wonder on August 10th. Outdoor Movie Night in Old Town Square Fort Collins Colorado Summer

This free, family-friendly event is scheduled each Tuesday evening from July 10th through August 14th. Beginning around 8:15 p.m., you can enjoy a movie on a blow-up screen on the Old Town Square Stage alongside free popcorn and, of course, all the local businesses of Old Town are just steps away!
