This is a very exciting time of year! If you’ve ever thought about building a new or custom home, the 2015 Parade of Homes is the event for you! It brings together some of the best home builders in Northern Colorado. You’ll be able to walk through newly built show homes and luxury homes in brand new communities, get inspired by great floor plans and interior design, and ultimately get a better idea of what you want and don’t want in a home. These builders have worked hard and poured their hearts into the design, construction, energy efficiency, finish work and decoration, all to make the best parade possible!
While some are just for dreaming, many of the properties are for sale, and there are 17 different builders participating from the Larimer and Weld County areas. Catch a sneak peek of the 30+ homes on the tour and plan out your weekend accordingly with the interactive map.
That being said, before you plan out your journey too much, make sure you save room in your schedule for the annual Kickoff Party! This year it’s held at Toll Brothers Kechter Farms on September 10th, 2015. There will be live music, food, door prizes and did I mention the mayor?! Yes, you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with Mayor Wade Troxell of Fort Collins, as well as network and learn more about the opportunities to build your dream home. Now that’s what we call a great weekend!
People’s Choice Award!
The Peoples Choice Award is the most coveted award of the NOCO HBA Parade of Homes! Ultimately, parade goers decide which homes suit them best, and can win a prize by simply casting their vote! All attendees can make their voices heard by selecting an entry for the People’s Choice Award and one lucky voter will be entered to win a Bosch dishwasher valued at $949!
To participate in the People’s Choice Award you must visit at least 10 houses, as verified by a builder representative at each site. Then, select your favorite and drop your ballot. The builder/remodeler who receives the most votes from attendees wins an award and recognition through NOCO HBA media promotion.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! There will also be other prizes and activities throughout the parade as well.
